FOL Corporate Sponsorships

The L.D. Fargo Public Library is a source of great pride for the city of Lake Mills, not only architecturally and historically, but as a phenomenal resource for the community.
The Friends of the Library was created to support services to library staff and the L.D. Fargo Public Library Board; sponsor programs designed to improve the social, cultural, and intellectual life of the community; and promote the library in all phases of community life.
Thanks to the generosity of these area businesses, civic groups, and organizations, we will be able to continue funding the annual Friends scholarship and numerous library activities and programs. Here are a few from 2023:

· Awarded $1,500 scholarship to high school senior
· Contributed $1,500 for the Summer Reading Program
· Provided $500 for audio Wonderbooks for children
· Funded $450 for adult programs
· Contributed $325 for Read, Rhythm & Rhyme (children’s program)
· Contributed $250 for the Main Street planter program
· Contributed $100 for Storywalk at Wallace Park
· Sponsored a holiday event for local Head Start students
